William Clay Ford, President of the Detroit Lions (standing), discusses the suspension of player Alex Karras and five other Detroit Lions players in the Lions office in Detroit today after an investigation into pro football betting by the National Football League. Seated from left are: General Manager Edwin J. Anderson and Coach George Wilson. Karras was suspended indefinitely and fined $2,000. Other players were fined $2,000 each, not suspended.
