Felled trees, scorched stumps are all that remain of this once magnificent forest in the Sundance Mountains of Idaho. A huge fire raged through the woodlands this week, devastating thousands of acres. Foresters said it will be a monumental task to clear debris from the bed of the Pack River shown here.
