Description
A forest fire which has already consumed close to 50,000 acres is inching closer to the town of Vermillion Bay, Ontario, in the Dryden area of northwestern Ontario. Sixty-five fires are burning over 160,000 acres in the area with ten new fires reported Sunday. Three have been put out. More than 1,000 men and 45 planes are battling the fires.
