About 300 U.S. tourists applaud a U.S. consular official as he tells them they can leave Egypt aboard a special charter ship from Alexandria. The tourists have been stranded in Cairo since the Middle East War began. They met in the Cairo Hilton ball room to hear the consular official's announcement.
