Mrs Lulu Foller, who will be 105 years old tomorrow, wears an orchid as she poses in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Colonel and Mrs. E.M. Peddrick, 5802 Augusta Lane, Bethesda, Maryland, today on the eve of her birthday. Born in Fairfield, PA, Mrs. Foller remembers the Civil War as a sudden raid by Confederate cavalrymen who swept through the town and vanished. She lived in Gettysburg, PA until her husband's death 42 years ago. Mrs. Foller enjoys excellent health and attributes it to thinking about pleasant things. Her hobby is making dolls for hospitalized youngsters.She does her meticulous sewing without wearing glasses.
