1965 Press Photo Turin, Italy-Foglia Siamese twins survive separation

Giuseppina (right) and Santina Foglia give their attention to gifts as they recover at the University of Turin, Italy, from an operation Monday which separated the six-year-old Siamese twins. The operation required five hours. Santina enjoys a new doll and Giuseppina holds a white rose from a visiting relative.
