James A. Farley shown in his New York office Wednesday, says the last time the Democrats held their presidential convention in New York it took 103 ballots to nominate a man who lost anyway. The 87-year-old Farley, who went on to become U.S. Postmaster General and a big gun in Democratic party recalls the 1924 convention as a real "donnybrook".
