Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival participants, the Kemp family --- Julia, 6, (left), Jenny, 9, and Richard Kemp in the Quick and Dirty Boat Richard Kemp built with Frank Schooley as an example of what can be done with two sheets of 4x8 plywood, 1 sheet of 4x4 plywood, 6-8' 2x4's, nails, canvas, rope, wire and caulking. These supplies will be donated to teams entering the Quick and Dirty Boat Building Contest, which will be a part of the Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival September 29-30.
