1959 Press Photo Government - John Foster Dulles, Foreign Affairs Advisor

Government - John Foster Dulles, who died in Washington today at the age of 71, was foreign affairs advisor for presidents of both parties. He undertook diplomatic missions for President Truman in 1949 and was close to the then President-elect Eisenhower in 1952 before being appointed secretary of state.
