Description
Inspecting a model of the NASA space shuttle and launch vehicles at a press briefing Thursday are James Odom (left), NASA project manager for the external fuel tank program, and Robert S. Williams, vice-president and project manager for Martin Marietta Corp., the firm that will build the fuel tank. The fuel tank is the large cylindrical object in the center of the model. The space shuttle rides on top of it and two solid-fuel rockets are strapped on either side of it.
