"I see him about once a week. "He calls me Mr. Schorr. "I call him Mr. Khrushchev, "We get along as well as could be expected." The Speaker is one of 165 Americans who "officially" live in Russia. He is Dan Schorr, 41-year-old bachelor, who, as Moscow correspondent for the Columbia Broadcasting System, is a one-man gang who has photographed, interviewed, tape-recorded and written about the men who control the lives of over 200 million Russians and who, in effect, hold the peace of the world in their hands. Dan Schorr, right, Moscow correspondent for CBS, stopped in New Orleans briefly yesterday while on vacation form his Russian post. He was greeted by Orleanians Dr. Irving A. Fosberg and wife Betty. He is currently on a lecture tour of the United States.

Photo is dated 1958.

Photo measures 8.5 x 7 inches.
