1950 Press Photo Displaced Person Abraham Schrojt plays at LA Veterans Hospital

One of the entertainers last week at the Veterans Hospital was a German violinist Abraham Schrojt. He was paying back in part a debt which he feels he owes to America. For the first time since 1934, he is living a normal life. A Displaced Person brought to New Orleans under the sponsorship of the Vocational Guidance Service of B'nai B'rith, he and his wife face a future free at last from guards and barracks.
