1959 Press Photo Kim Stanley and Jason Robards Jr. receive awards from ANTA

Theater stars Kim Stanley and Jason Robards, Jr. weren't play acting in this happy scene-- they had just received American National Theater and Academy (ANTA) awards for their outstanding contributions to the art of the living theater. Miss Stanley was cited for her performance in Eugene O'Neill's "A Touch Of The Poet" -- Robards for his role in "The Disenchanted." Both shows currently are running on Broadway.
