Pretty Jacquelyn Jeanne Mayer, Miss America of 1963, holds hands with her fiance, John Townsend, today at the Meadowlands Farms where Townsend is a part-time office employee and handles harness racing horses. Miss Mayer, a sophomore at Northwestern University, hails from Sandusky, Ohio. Townsend, a second year law student at the University of Pittsburgh, is from nearby Bridgeville, Pa. Incidentally, the horse's name is "Intention."
