Howard S. Meighan has been named President of the CBS Radio Division, it was announced today by Frank Stanton, CBS President. The CBS Radio Division is one of three new autonomous divisions of the Company, the other two being CBS Television Division and CBS Laboratories Division. Mr. Meighan will be in charge of the CBS Radio Network, Company-owned radio stations, and radio station services.
