Gabriel Kaplan stars as Gabriel Kotter, who is assigned as a teacher to the same New York high school from which he graduated in "Welcome Back, Kotter," new ABC Television Network comedy series which premieres Tuesday, September 9 (8:30-9:00 p.m., EDT). Kaplan, a comedian who writes his own material, is a co-creator (with Alan Sacks) of the new series.
