1967 Press Photo MacKinlay Kantor won Pulitzer Prize for his novel Andersonville

MacKinlay Kantor's wide range of interest is portrayed by the varied characters which populate Storyteller (Doubleday, $5.95). This collection of short stories includes the veterans, the rustic children and Missouri hill people, the murderess in Chicago, the small boy escaping bombs in London, the fighter pilot diving into his attack. Mr. Kantor won the Pulitzer Prize for his novel, Andersonville, and was a combat correspondent in World War II and the Korean War.
