1963 Press Photo Awardees at Banquet by Chamber of Commerce at Jung Hotel

The Big Man with the trumpet and a physician with a world-wide reputation were honored with plaques for salesmanship Tuesday night at a banquet of the Sales and Marketing Executives of the Chamber of Commerce of the New Orleans Area. From left are George T. Wood, general chairman of the award committee; Al Hirl, recipient of the special Award of Merit ; Dr. Alton Ochsner, 1963 Distinguished Salesman At Large; and Elmo S. Koschel, chairman of the DSA At Large Committee. Along with Dr. Ochsner and Hirl, 24 other men received plaques as Distinguished Salesman at the dinner in the Jung Hotel. Dr. Alton Ochsner was recognized as 1963 Distinguished Salesman At Large Tuesday night at an award banquet of the Sales and Marketing Executive of the Chamber of Commerce of the New Orleans Area in the Jung Hotel.
