Jimmy Breslin, noted New York columnist and author, makes his acting debut co-starred with Oscar-winning composer Joe Brooks and actress-model Shelley Hack in her major film debut in "If Ever I See You Again." a contemporary romance with music also starring Jerry Keller and Kenny Karen. The new Columbia Pictures release was produced and directed by Brooks from a screenplay he co-authored with Martin Davidson, and features the music and songs composed by Brooks, this year's Oscar winner for the hit song from his first movie, "You Light Up My Life."
