1974 Press Photo Bettye Tausch holds Pre-Colombian figures at LA Fair Grounds

Pre-Colombian figures unearthed in Mexico, shown here by Bettye Tausch, are among items featured at the 10th Annual Dixieland Gem and Mineral Show at the Fair Grounds Racetrack, 1751 Gentilly Road. The show, which is being presented by the Gem and Mineral Society of Louisiana, Incorporated, will be open from noon to 6 pm Sunday. Included in the exhibits are hand cut gemstones, hand made jewelry and educational booths.
