1964 Press Photo River Basins Inter-Agency Committee participants meet

Participants in the session included (from left) Brigadier General Richard H. Free, Dallas, Texas, Southwest Division, United States Engineers; Calvin T. Watts, Louisiana Public Works Department, representative of Governor John J. McKeithen; Young and Fred Boydston, Denver, members of the committee representing the state of Colorado. One of the major interests of the Arkansas-White-Red Basins Inter-Agency Committee is to maintain recreational facilities in the basin while progress is made in developments for industry agriculture and federal improvements, the chairman of the committee said here Wednesday.
