Disabled American Veterans - Sturges Ducoing Receives Award. A certificate was presented Tuesday night to Sturges J. Ducoing (right), naming him a national deputy chief of staff to the national commander of the Disabled American Veterans. Sterling Verret, commander of the department of Louisiana of the D.A.V. made the presentation on behalf of the national commander. The meeting was held at 2618 N. Roman.
