A Certificate of Merit was presented by the Tuberculosis Association of Greater New Orleans to St. Bernard Salon No. 589, Eight and Forty, for its activities in tuberculosis control. The presentation was made at a meeting of the salon in the Roosevelt Hotel by Mrs. Andrea Hedmeg Ledet (left), Tango field representative, is Mrs. Henry B. Vega (center), salon president.
