Presenting a plaque to Monsignor Bela Varga for "outstanding contributions to international understanding" is Richard L. Hindermann, vice president of International House and New Orleans area chairman of Radio Free Europe Fund, Inc. Monsignor Varga was in New Orleans on behalf of Radio Free Europe. A Catholic monsignor who was the last freely elected president of the Hungarian Parliament warned here Monday that the West should not be taken in by Communist appeals for coexistence.
