Description
A. T. Shoemaker, Jr. has been in 4-H work for the past five years. A teacher in the elementary school at Winnsboro, he got interested in 4-H Clubs though his wife who had been active in 4-H Club work. Shoemaker is a leader in junior 4-H work and his clubs have taken many of the awards open to juniors at parish and other fairs. His club has more than 60 members, between the ages of 10 and 14. Two North Louisiana high school juniors are using some of the experience gained in varied 4-H Club activities as the foundation for careers which they hope to follow when they complete their higher education.
