Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Vedros of Lutcher, Louisiana, celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary by cutting the golden wedding cake. Mrs. Vedros is the former Laura M. Comeaux of Paincourtville. They have six children, 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Vedros was employed by Colonial Sugars in Gramercy for 49 years prior to his retirement last year. He is a native of Labadieville. Funeral services for Ellis C. Vedros, 78, retired sugar boiler, will be held at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at the St. Joseph Catholic Church n Paulina.
