Weaver P. Vercher, who found his wife's body in the Mississippi river yesterday, looks at a picture recalling their long years together. - The body of a Jefferson Parish housewife, who had been distraught over the death of a two-year-old boy she hit with her car April 11, was found by her husband in the Mississippi River near her home. She was Mrs. Weaver P. Vercher, 65, 108 Dodge Street. The body was discovered in the shallow waters of the river by her husband shortly after noon yesterday.
