Participating Wednesday night at the 154th annual banquet commemorating the Battle of New Orleans were (from left) John H. Guthans, banquet program chairman, Dr. William J. Morgan, Commander USN (ret), head of the Historical Research Branch of the the Navy's Division of History, Washington, D.C. and Hugh M. Wilkinson, president of the Louisiana Historical Society, sponsor of the banquet. The banquet took place at Antoine's Restaurant, just as it has for the past 40 years.
