Rufus Zachary, pastor of Metairie First Baptist church, was elected moderator of the New Orleans Baptist Association Friday night. Also elected at the meeting at the New Orleans Baptist Theological seminary were the Reverend Dick Randels, Lakeview Baptist church, vice-moderator; Herman Durham, clerk; and E. P. Patterson were re-elected. John Gilbert is district secretary.
