1967 Press Photo Times-Picayune reporter Frank Schneider honored by realtors.

Honored for outstanding public service in reporting real estate news, Frank L. Schneider (center), real estate editor of The Times-Picayune, accepts the first annual award to be presented by the Real Estate Board of New Orleans and the Jefferson Board of Realtors. Allen H. Johness (left), president of the New Orleans group, and Robert N. Weigand, head of the Jefferson realtors, participate in the presentation Monday at the Press Club of New Orleans Incorporated. Similar presentation will take place each year in conjunction with National Realtor Week. Also participating was Philip Zollinger, president of the Louisiana Realtors Association.
