1953 Press Photo Recipient of the Herbert L. Weinberger Memorial Award

Dr. John P. McNulty, right, 3800 Magazine, looks at the $100 check representing the Herbert L. Weinberger Memorial Award to the outstanding medical resident on the Touro Infirmary staff. The award was established jointly by Charles Farwell and Mrs. Weinberger, widow of a former chief of Touro's department of gastroenterology. Miss Lynne Weinberger, his daughter, and Farwell congratulate Dr. McNulty for winning the award this year. Contributions to the award fund are being made by the family and friends of Dr. Weinberger to create an endowment to perpetuate the award.
