In another paper presented today, Dr. Roy T. Parker, professor and chairman of obstetrics and gynecology at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, said that transfusion techniques had done much to save babies endangered by bleeding in the late stages of the mother's pregnancy.
