The president of the American Gas Association Inc. told 450 members of the Public Utility Buyers; Group today that the gas and electric consumer in the United States is king. Addressing the group's 33rd annual midwinter conference at the Roosevelt Hotel, Ed Parkes of Shreveport said, "No other country on earth enjoys such energy with so many uses at so reasonable a cost."
