1953 Press Photo Nicholas Ploumbidis, Communist leader- In trial in Athens

Nicholas Ploumbidis, 52, leader of the Communist underground organization in Greece, is being tried with nine other members of the Communist party's central committee in Athens. During the trial he chatted with newsmen and was mugged by photographers but refused to answer all questions put to him by the court.
