1966 Press Photo Officers carry the body of a man found in Jefferson Parish

Officers carry the body of a man found in high grass and weeds on the riverside of the levee in Jefferson Parish near Shrewsbury and River road Wednesday. The body was found lying face up in an area a few feet from where the men carry the coffin-like box. Two grass cutters discovered the body.
