In the New Orleans States office Jack Midelton is known as "the man who knows everything." He is in constant attendance to the staff and sees to it that all copy gets to the composing room as Hartson near Cambridge in England, Jack Midelton entered the Royal Engineers at the age of 15 and participated in major engagements of the World War. He came to America in 1920 after the death of his father and because his mother wanted to return to her native New Orleans. He joined the staff of the New Orleans States several years ago.
