Dr. Terrence O' Donnovan (right), first surgeon on Dr. Christian Barnard's famed heart transplant team in South Africa, was one of the speakers at Wednesday's kickoff luncheon here for the 1968 Heart Fund campaign. Chatting at the affair at the Roosevelt Hotel are (from left) Dr. Homer Dupuy, New Orleans, past president of the Louisiana Heart Association; Dr. Watts Webb, Dallas, Texas, of Southwest Medical School and pioneer researcher in heart transplant surgery; Dr. Alton Ochsner Jr., chairman, Orleans Parish Heart Council, and Dr. O'Donovan, Capetown, South Africa.
