A man who doesn't believe that people should think about Mardi Gras in connection with whiskey visited New Orleans Friday night for the first annual dinner of the Canadian Club Society. Jack Musick, president of the Hiram Walker Inc., said in an interview at the Roosevelt Hotel that some people enjoy drinking at all social events, and whiskey does not play the dominant role in Carnival festivities.
