"La Marseillaise" is sung by Mrs. A.R. Makofsky and Mrs. Lorraine Belanger, teachers Allen elementary school, as they follow the lead of Hanes Morris, supervisor of foreign languages for public schools. The strains of "La Marseillaise," followed by repeated, distinctly French sounds, are floating through the halls these days at the Orleans parish school board building, 703 Carondelet.
