1967 Press Photo Israeli soldiers in Syria with blindfolded Russian officer

Although Israeli army spokesmen denied that any Russian prisoners were captured in Syria, London Express photographer Stanley Meagher said that when he took this picture of a blindfolded prisoner, several Israeli soldiers said the man was a Russian officer. Meagher, who took the picture Saturday, never did see the prisoner with his blindfold off.

Photo is dated 1967.
