After a flight from Houston, President Jose Maria Lemus of El Salvador, his wife (center) and Senora Alfredo Ortiz Mancia, wife of El Salvador's foreign minister, pause at Moisant International Airport Thursday before leading a motorcade into the city. A 21-gun salute and the presentation of arms by a Marine Corps and Navy honor guard greeted the distinguished visitors as the stepped from the plane. Senora de Lemus, who arrived feeling ill, was taken to her accommodations in the Roosevelt hotel almost immediately.
