1962 Press Photo Lebanese & Syrian Catholic spiritual leader in New Orleans

Emphasizing his "one message, a message of love and charity," in New Orleans Wednesday night is the 68 year old patriarch of Antioch and all the East, spiritual leader of Maronite Catholics. He was honored at a banquet, where speakers made frequent reference to Christian unity. His Beatitude, Paul Boutros Meouchia, was a pastor in the United States for 14 years.
