Description
An oil slick, apparently seeping up from the sunken Formosan freighter Union Faith in the Mississippi River, may threaten the St. Bernard Parish area water supply around the Algiers Point if the wind shifts, says Henry Schindler Jr., district manager. The slick was reported yesterday by U.S. Coast Guard officials.
