Marks 85th Birthday-Alice Roosevelt Longworth, President Theodore Roosevelt's only daughter, turns 85 today. She will celebrate her birthday with friends and relatives at her mansion near Washington;s Dupont Circle, where she has lived for 44 years. "At the moment, I seem to have become a loathsome combination of Marie Dressler and Phyllis Diller," said Mrs. Longsworth in reference to a reputation for theatrics as well as acid humor.
