Nine-Pound, 14-ounce Barron Lowrey is the apparent winner of the States-Item Stork Derby. Shown with his mother, Mrs. John Lowrey, 8603 1/2 Bern st., Metairie, the infant was born at 1:13 a.m. yesterday at Charity Hospital, the first reported birth in the tri-parish area in 1969. The winning baby is entitled to a host of prizes put up bye the States-Item and area merchants.
