The public school system in the United States has "made us the leader" in education in the world, Dr. Carl J. Dolce, superintendent of New Orleans public schools said in an address Saturday night. Dr. Dolce spoke before the first annual meeting of the Citizens for the Advancement of Public Education in the Loyola University student center.
