Midshipman Captain David Charles Long of New Orleans has been selected battalion commander of the Tulane University Navy Reserve Officers Training Corps. Long is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Long, 1616 S. Lopez, and is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences at Tulane. Others named to the midship administrative staff are G.P. Oregon, New Orleans, executive officer; B.G. Pake, Little Rock, Arkansas, operations officer; D.J. Fresswick, highland Park, New Jersey, adjunct; and J.G. Neeb, San Diego, California, supply officer.
