Fred Lafon, Hayne boulevard, 67, who was employed at several theatres in New Orleans during days of legit theatrer here. Lafon played small roles (such as hind part of an elephant) when there was no one else to do them. Such luminarie such as Nazimova, John Philip Sousa, William S. Hart, Dustin and William Farnum, DeWolf Hopper, Tetrazini, Sir Harry Lauder and other "greats". Lafon worked in New Orleans theaters from 1905 to 1933, retired to give full time to his restaurant.
