Celebrating Bastille Day, July 14, on the eve of the great French holiday at a reception Sunday night at Municipal Auditorium are (from left), Jean Le Cannellier, consul general of France; James Domengeaux, president of the Council for the Development of French Louisiana, and Dr. F.L. Jaubert, president of L'Union Francaise. Approximately 150 persons attended the reception, which was in honor of the presidents of the seven French societies in New Orleans and members of L'Union Francaise.
