1963 Press Photo Japanese Ambassador & other dignitaries visit New Orleans

The Japanese Ambassador to the United States, Ryuji Takeuchi, left, was among recent dignitaries visiting New Orleans, and during his stay was honored at several festivities. Among these was a party given by Mr. and Mrs. Niels F. Johnsen, center, who entertained at their Audubon Place home where they are pictured with Mr. Takao Matsuo, Consul General of Japan in New Orleans. Mr. Johnsen is president of the Japan Society of New Orleans.
